These are pictures inspired after watching Michael Jackson’s This Is It.”What about the flowers? What about the children? What about US?“Maybe one day, despite how lofty and scenic his ideas may appear, maybe, just maybe we could all hold hands, sing the earth song and heal the world.
Had OP second dry run today and thankfully it was better than the previous and I’m glad.To my groupies, let’s keep this up and WE’LL OWN IT ON FRIDAY=D
Went for lunch and movie with Gabriel,Kevin and Asyraf.Boy there was a dispute regarding which movie to watch. In the end we settled for This Is It and we’re watching 2012 with the Queen next week=)Oh I must blog about this-It’s uncanny to see Gabe eating “baby food”.See I told you alrdy right the apple and blueberry flavour is NICER lah haha.
Michael Jackson’s This Is It is like what Kevin says,”EPIC” and to me,it is a legendary concert classic. It would have be great and fantasic and the best of all the other bests simply because it’s Michael Jackson and his solo dances and music is just mindblowing.MJ kept me glued to the screen for two hours and the only time I took my eyes off him was to look down and grab my tissue paper.I wanted to cry halfway during “I’ll be there” but I tried to control it.After the movie and the credits are showing,I couldn’t help but just break down and have a good cry.I couldn’t believe it.This Is It.Well call me laggy or slow, but I guess deep down I haven’t really reconciled myself to the fact that he’s gone.Really gone and I’m stuck with “What Ifs” churning in my head. The concert would have been a SURE success and the way you see MJ singing, screaming, prancing and dancing on stage-his fitness and vivre belong to that of a 20 plus year old’s.It’s definitely not one coming from the body and mind of a 50 year old man. He’s forever youthful and mesmerizing and invincible on stage. But despite all these vitality,it seems as though there’s a hint of lethargy in his voice and actions-his dance moves are beginning to show wear and tear.Is that a sign that he had to go?Yet undeniably,MJ’s the BEST.He’s prolly the world’s best entertainer.Oh and YES,the man’s damn SEXY.OMG HE OOZES SEX APPEAL LIKE REALLY.HE’S A MAN’S MAN AND IS DAMN SMOKING HOT LAH.I remembered telling Kev and Gabe this during the movie and in the dark I could see their faces going “WHAT!?”OMG but he seriously is sexy man.I can’t get over it.He’s so…appealing and so charismatic. How can anyone NOT fall in love with the performer, star and king of pop Michael Jackson? It’s a crime not to.Oh and I couldn’t resist tapping my foot according to the beat of his hit songs(Sry GABE for the vibrations!)
The movie was…so freaking awesome and there’s so much more praise for it,but let’s just leave it as that. When MJ sung and croon, you could feel the strains of his heartstrings and all his passion for music and the world. He loves them and some of the rehearsal excerpts showed him being demanding, yet veryveryvery polite. He’s not a diva at all!I guess even though he died so tragically, however this movie has redeemed him. When I think of him now,I think of him as the Michael Jackson before the nosejob, plastic surgery, child molest controversy, messy marriages days.I want and will remember him as the singer on stage. The singer who changed so many lives through his music and the singer who had a beautiful soul and sincerity for people and everything around him.I want to remember him as the one and only Michael Jackson, the one and only King Of Pop.I want to remember him at his peak, the point where the world was at his feet and the time when he was invincible and fiery and at his greatest.
Now all I have is the music and memories of Michael Jackson to remember him by.The King of Pop Michael Jackson has took his final bow.
This Is It.
P.S:How a single movieĀ could evoke so many brimming emotions in me,that I do not know. However it is simply great-I want the DVD and now,all I want to do is sleep and move on to tomorrow.
